Its the little things

One of the fun things about travelling is the small, unexpected things one encounters on the way.

Staying at the Czech 5 days our accommodation is an old style, Czech summer camp.  One day probably considered quite the place to be, but by today's standards, rather small and simple, albeit clean and tidy.

So my favourite discoveries so far:

The orange slugs of Pilsen.  These are rivalled only by the bright pink slugs of Mt Kaputar.  Both are impressive for their size,up to 12 cm long, and colour.

The others are images of the former glory of the camp.  The rusty, boardless swimming pier;

 And the overgrown soccer field.  No doubt the scene of many past glorious moments.
