The photo below was taken near the town of Tarhunka, about 50 Klms outside Oskemen (aka Ust Kamenogorsk) in Kazakhstan in May 2004. James was trying a back road ride but because the roads were so muddy he had given up and was heading back to UK after which he cycled along the White Yba River north of Ridda (aka Leninogorsk).
